Tom Chaplin was an American entrepreneur and chef, and founder of Chaplin's Chili.^[1] He was forced out of the original restaurant through unknown means, and went on to found Foodman's Dream Catering. He passed away from carbon monoxide poisoning during the course of the 7th Annual On Cinema Oscar Special due to complications involving the Mobile VFA.^[2]
