Chaplin's Chili is the colloquial name for the various incarnations of a restaurant chain started by Tom Chaplin. It started as a single restaurant, named after its owner. Over the years, the company has gone through numerous acquisitions and corporate restructurings. Throughout its many re-brandings, it has frequently provided sponsorship and catering to the On Cinema Oscar Specials since the 3rd Annual On Cinema Oscar Special, most often accompanied by its employee and spokesman, Hank Friedmann.
