Portrayed by | Peyton Reed |
Peyton Tucker Reed is an American television and film director. He directed the comedy films Bring It On (2000), Down with Love (2003), The Break-Up (2006), and Yes Man (2008), as well as the superhero film Ant-Man (2015) and its sequels, Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018), and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023).
He appeared in the Third Oscar Special, where he was interviewed on Gregg Turkington's new chat show, On Cinema On Directors, alongside Tim Heidecker, the director of Decker. Gregg asked him about his directing style, as well as the Oscar write-in vote. Tim, under the influence of alcohol, behaved antagonistically towards Reed, asking Gregg several times where he “found this guy.” Reed revealed during the interview that he had cast Gregg in Ant-Man, which was filmed while Tim was living in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Jealous, Tim walked out of the interview, to Gregg's embarrassment.
