Tim's housing
Over the course of On Cinema, host Tim Heidecker has changed his housing situation several times. Oftentimes, his living situation changes due to unforeseeable disaster, and he frequently stays with friends and family in these cases.
Tim's first house
Before the start of the On Cinema podcast, Tim lived in a Los Angeles house with his wife Stephanie and his son. He used the garage as a recording studio, which was apparently slightly messy.[1] In early 2013, Ayaka Ohwaki was staying with the family as a foreign exchange student.[2]
Tim's apartment
Following Tim's divorce with Stephanie in Summer 2013,[3] Tim moved out to an apartment,[4] stating that he had “everything in boxes.”[5] His new housing did not have a movie theater nearby, making reviewing movies for On Cinema difficult.[6] Ayaka also moved in with Tim after attaining a job in America, and the two began going out at the end of July 2013. They furnished the apartment with furniture from IKEA.[4]
