On Cinema at the Cinema (season 6)
The sixth season of On Cinema at the Cinema began airing February 4, 2015. The 3rd Annual On Cinema Oscar Special took place between episodes 3 and 4.
After Tim Heidecker's disillusionment with On Cinema and life in general at the close of last season, Gregg Turkington opens Season 6 as the new host of the show. His tenure lasts all of one episode, however, before Tim returns in episode 2. By this point, Ayaka and baby Tom Cruise Heidecker Jr. have left after Tim refuses to take responsibility for them. By episode 4, however, Tim has a change of heart, and pleads with Ayaka to return. She does, and they move into Gregg's apartment.
Tim announces the second season of Decker, entitled Decker: Port of Call: Hawaii, in episode 2. Gregg reprises his role as Master Codebreaker Kingston after showing great enthusiasm for the project. Tim, Gregg, and crew jet back and forth between Los Angeles and Hawaii to film the show, which totals 20 episodes at the end of the season.
In the final episode of the season, Tim proposes marriage to Ayaka, who accepts.
