Oscar Fever
“Oscar Fever” is a song written and performed by musician Tim Heidecker, created for the Oscar specials of his movie review show, On Cinema. It was first performed at the start of the 2nd Annual On Cinema Oscar Special and was performed in every subsequent special in various styles, before finally being retired after its performance during the 9th Annual On Cinema Oscar Special. The name of the song was coined by Gregg Turkington.[1]

The original performance of “Oscar Fever” was during the 2nd Annual On Cinema Oscar Special. Tim stated he made the song in the tradition of his favorite Oscar host, Billy Crystal. The song is performed with MIDI instrumentals.
