Ant-Man
Ant-Man is a 2015 superhero film from Marvel Studios. Directed by Peyton Reed, the film stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang / Ant-Man and Gregg Turkington as Dale / Baskin-Robbins Manager. Despite the star power, thrills, and chills, the film has received one of the lowest ratings of any movie reviewed on On Cinema at the Cinema, a measly one bag of popcorn. The film was reviewed on On Cinema at the Cinema Season 7 Episode 1: "Ant Man" and "Fantastic Four".
Synopsis
Scott Lang applies for a job at Baskin-Robbins in order to get his life back on track after being jailed for three years, having stolen from his old company Vistacorp. Things go well at Baskin-Robbins until Dale, the manager, finds out about Scott omitted the arrest on his job application. Dale admired him for the burglary from such a big company, but due to corporate policy, still had to fire him. Dale, being the hero he is, allows Scott to “steal” a smoothie on the way out.
If it wasn't for those encouraging words of support from Dale, Scott may have never had the spirit to break into another big house with his former cellmates and find the suit that made him Ant-Man. As Ant-Man, he saves the day from some big world-ending event with some ants or something.
