X is a social media platform formally known as Twitter, home for the greatest minds in politics, movies, religion, and more. Tim Heidecker and Gregg Turkington were avid users of X, along with various other On Cinema members, and some posts (formerly called “tweets”) are a major aspect of certain events, such as Gregg tracking his #501MoviesIn501Days progress. Since 2023, though, neither Tim or Gregg have actively used the service, with only the On Cinema at the Cinema X account remaining active. Tim and Gregg have since started using both the HEI Network comments and Bluesky.

• Tim constantly shifts between using his account in character and out of character, often promoting his other works such as Office Hours Live or engaging/arguing with people.
  • Tim briefly deleted his account in June 2023, following harassment from right-wing figures like Tim Pool, though quickly restored it. Since then, outside of the occasional promotion or in character tweet, the account has been posting “verified” and heavily-watermarked pictures of Tim, parodying Clint Eastwood's account.
