Gregg gives his take on two hot new blockbusters.

Synopsis

A somewhat haggard-looking Gregg appears with his usual “Hey Guys.” He announces that Tim Heidecker is unavailable today due to a medical emergency with Tom Cruise Heidecker Jr. He wishes Tim and Tom the best. He also says that he was not given the code to the studio in which the show is normally filmed, but consented to film the episode at the Victorville Film Archives screening room, from where he is filming today.

Today's first film is one Gregg has been looking forward to all year- the latest James Bond film, Spectre. Gregg says it is the best of Daniel Craig's Bond movies, and possibly of the whole franchise. He predicts the film will win Best Picture at the Oscars. He awards the film highest marks, and projects that Tim would give it five bags as well, due to its similarity to Decker.

Next up is The Peanuts Movie, featuring all the “great characters” from the classic comic strip. Gregg is pleased to see them in almost-3D instead of a flat comic strip, although he objects a bit to the title, as it is “A Peanuts Movie” and not “The Peanuts Movie”. He also opines that John Goodman should have done the voice of Charlie Brown, and therefore can only give it four bags; however, he decides to give it five bags anyway.

Today's episode features a special VFA edition of Popcorn Classics. Exiting the screening room into the parking lot of the archives (which looks suspiciously like a storage facility), Gregg raises a garage door to reveal a pile of boxes packed with VHS tapes. Grabbing two tapes, he launches into the segment, which he says features “family ties” of actors. The first tape is Swing Shift starring Goldie Hawn. Gregg's review, however, is interrupted by the noise of a passing semi-truck. After a camera cut, he continues with How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, starring Kate Hudson, Goldie Hawn's daughter.

Gregg closes by again offering Tom Cruise Jr. his best wishes.
