Gregg throws a VHS-shaped wrench into Tim and Ayaka's relationship after he wonders who took his VHS copy of 'Airheads'.

Synopsis

Tim's guest today is Ayaka. He tells the audience how they did a “Tough Mudder” competition together, and then introduces his other guest, Gregg Turkington. Tim explains that he and Gregg had a “disagreement” a couple weeks ago, but they have “worked it out” thanks in part to Ayaka being a “peacemaker.” The two lovers are all smiles, but Gregg doesn't seem to be in a good mood.

Tim loved the first film up for review, Getaway, revealing that he and Ayaka “cuddled up” and had a grand time while seeing the film, apparently getting in trouble with the theater staff for throwing popcorn. He compares the film to a Steve McQueen film, and said it “thrilled and chilled.” He and Ayaka both give it five bags. Gregg says the film is “not a great movie,” and disagrees with Tim's Steve McQueen comparison. He only gives the film two bags.

The next film, One Direction: This Is Us, made Tim feel like a kid. He says that Ayaka, a big fan of One Direction, got him “addicted” to some of their music, and they enjoyed taking Tim's niece to see the film as well. Ayaka says that the One Direction musicians are cute, but Tim is “cuter,” and the two get all bashful (to Gregg's obvious discomfort). Tim awards the film five bags, and Ayaka six. Gregg says this is a non-movie and shouldn't have been reviewed on the show, describing it as “jerks playing awful music.” He gives it zero bags of popcorn, on account of a black hole sucking out all the popcorn.

Tim and Ayaka remark that Gregg's review is “sad,” while Gregg retorts that Tim's judgment is influenced by his girlfriend's opinions. A brief spat ensues, in which Tim says he regrets bringing Gregg back, telling him “no one here likes you.” Nevertheless, he asks Gregg to do a Popcorn Classics.

Gregg has brought in The Family Man, a Nicolas Cage movie. However, instead of reviewing the movie, he confronts Ayaka for using his tape of Airheads for the Popcorn Classics segment last week. Producing the tape, he reveals that it was stolen from his collection, and has a bit of red tape left on it with coding visible. Ayaka denies stealing the tape, but Gregg demands to know how she got it. She reveals she found it “in a box” in Tim's room, but Tim denies taking it from Gregg, saying he has no idea how Ayaka procured it. A heated argument ensues, and in the end, Tim insists Ayaka stole it and has “a lot of explaining to do.”
