Bill Ring is the owner of the lot that formerly contained the Movie House, which he had leased to Gregg Turkington in December 2024. He had sent Gregg an unwarranted eviction notice just two months later due to alleged prostitution going on with New Heidecker's unlicensed massage business that both New and Gregg protested. Right before the 12th Annual On Cinema Oscar Special, Ring or an unknown associate locked all entryways into the Movie House, which resulted in Mark Prousch being assigned by New to break into the house through an open window on the second floor. New attempted to raise funds to buy the Movie House from Ring with cash and HEI Points, though it is currently unknown if he was successful following the collapse of the Movie House later in the night.
