The 12th Annual On Cinema Oscar Special aired March 2, 2025, live from the Movie House that was also the home to season 15 of the series. The special was hosted by New Heidecker.

- This is the first Oscar special on the HEI Network to not use Vimeo, instead using Mux. There were no major streaming issues that, like what happened with the 8th, 9th, and 11th specials, resulted in HEI having to use a backup YouTube livestream.
- The Witches & Wizards segment was produced by vicberger.
- Thunder Studios Broadcasting helped produced the special, providing a mobile production truck that could be clearly seen when Joey confronted New.
Goofs
- The start of the special was delayed by a minute as the intro's audio was not properly playing. The countdown was rewound in real-time back to a minute.
- A hot mic, presumably of director Eric Notarnicola, counting down to the start of the special could also be heard.
- While Toni was interviewing G. Amato, an accidental camera cut to Tim and Gregg was shown with both of them out-of-character and laughing at G.'s non-answers.
- The reflection of a teleprompter could be seen during a couple of scenes.
