On Cinema at the Cinema (season 8)
The eighth season of On Cinema at the Cinema began airing July 27, 2016.
Tim and Gregg acquire an abandoned theater in Victorville. It becomes the Victorville Film Center, which serves as the new shooting location for the show and a complement to the nearby Victorville Film Archives. Gregg has high hopes for the theater's future, but his plans are disrupted by Tim, who prefers to focus on Dekkar and suffers from the effects of questionable vape products devised by Dr. San. Having recently become estranged from Ayaka, Tim makes the Victorville Film Archives his home, and uses it as a rehearsal space for Dekkar.
Things take a disastrous turn when Tim accidentally burns down the storage facility housing the Victorville Film Archives, reducing the entire library to ashes along with most of Gregg's personal items. Tim is seriously burned, and the threat of legal damages from the storage facility hangs over him and Gregg. An intervention staged by Joe Estevez and other acquaintances of Tim fails to make an impression on him.
