A little medical fraud and seriously infected face sores can't stop Tim from doing what he loves best—reviewing the hottest movies.
Synopsis
Tim greets the viewers with a heavy cough and a red face, pocked with infected sores. He explains that he has a “stage three infection” due to Dr. San's unsanitary acupuncture needles. Dr. San also seems to have gone into hiding, and Tim implores the viewers to contact him with any knowledge of his whereabouts. Gregg is giddy about the prospect of the show finally re-focusing on movies, and Tim says he will be taking a sabbatical after this episode.
First up for review is The Lego Movie. Tim struggles to get through the list of the “big cast,” and says the film has “too many people.” As to the film itself, he says “it's about legos,” and awards it three stars. Gregg praises the creativity and the characters, and predicts the film may be the start of a new franchise on the level of James Bond.
For RoboCop, Gregg says the story is nothing new, and wishes there had been a sequel to the original Robocop. He still enjoyed it, describing it as “very exciting,” and gives it 5 bags of popcorn.
Gregg gives an update on his 500 Movies in 500 Days campaign. He says that he received messages of support from several Hollywood stars, and rolls a clip of their well-wishes, featuring Jimmy McNichol and Joe Estevez. After the clip, Tim reminds Gregg that he will not be available to host next week, as he is scheduled to undergo some procedures for his infection. He offers Gregg the host seat for the next episode, which Gregg eagerly accepts.
