“Ride With The Devil” is a song by rock band Dekkar, released on January 28, 2024 as a standalone single. The single and music video were released on the same day band members Axiom and Manuel Giusti announced that former frontman Tim Heidecker would no longer be a part of the band, with Corwin Allard taking Tim's place as the third member of the band. The song alludes to the crashing of the tour bus during the band's 2022 tour that left Axiom blinded and Manuel in a coma, and how Tim had apparently done this intentionally.

Reception

The single received mostly positive reception online, racking up 11,000+ views on YouTube within two days. @Katiemoeser46 praised the song as an “anthem of independence”; this comment was later liked by the Dekkar YouTube channel.[1]

Former frontman and alleged target of the song Tim Heidecker, now referring to himself as T. Amato, devoted an emergency episode of On Cinema On Demand to discussing the song and his removal from the band and blasted the song as one of the worst songs he had ever heard. The co-host, Joey P., and episode guest LaRue agreed with T.'s statements, though Gregg Turkington notably said the song wasn't that bad. T. also told Axiom “fuck you” for insinuating he was the devil with his lyrics, and suggested that he and Manuel should be deported back to Italy.
