Popcorn Classics
Popcorn Classics is a segment created by Gregg Turkington for the movie review show On Cinema at the Cinema. Originating in the show's very first episode, Popcorn Classics features Gregg highlighting a movie from his personal collection. These Popcorn Classics are selected for being movies that may have been previously missed, but are, in Gregg's opinion, supremely watchable, and a viable alternative to going to the theater. It is the longest running segment on On Cinema at the Cinema, and one of the show's most iconic.
In recent years, the show has begun to have less and less time to feature Popcorn Classics. However, Gregg still champions for the segment, and implores host Tim Heidecker to find more time to allow the segment to run.
