It is known for its predatory interest rates, which nearly bankrupted HEI Inc., before the creation of the HEI Network. As there has been no further legal danger from MoneyZap after the founding of the HEI Network, it can be presumed that the subscription costs of the network helped to pay off the loan from MoneyZap.
