-head
The suffix -head is often used by members of the On Cinema Family to denote their fandom to a particular topic. The most common usage of this suffix is Timhead or Gregghead.
The first usage of -head on On Cinema to describe fandom was in S03E04. During a discussion of The Wolverine, featuring the X-Men character Wolverine, guest Gregg Turkington described himself as an “X-head.”
Gregg once stated that he was not a big Frankenstein fan, or a “Frankenhead” or “Frankenfreak.”[1]
During the 2nd Annual On Cinema Oscar Special, Gregg had invited friends of his that were interested the Lord of the Rings series, who he called “Hobbitheads.” He also had a custom “Hobbit Head” t-shirt he was seen wearing during that year's Oscar Behind-The-Scenes Tour.
