On Cinema Gold Edition, or Gold Standard, was a certification awarded during the course of the On Cinema podcast. It was given to movies that both host Tim Heidecker and frequent guest Gregg Turkington signed off on as being Gold Certified.^[1] It was first awarded during Podcast Episode 33: "Being There" to the film Being There. Match Point was considered but decided against due to the fact that director Woody Allen, who traditionally also stars in his movies, did not appear in it.^[2]
