An eventful season wraps up with two reviews, a visit to a Victorville landmark, and Tim sharing new and cutting-edge music.
Tim's disturbingly red face looks much the same as last week. A grumpy-looking Gregg apologizes that the season hasn't gone as planned; Tim apologizes for having worn the same clothes since the fire, as they were singed to his skin. He blames his “made in China” clothing, but Gregg reminds him the fire was his fault.
Tim seems annoyed but unwilling to engage, so he jumps right into the synopsis of Magnificent Seven. He notes it is “a western with guns and Indians,” starring Chris Pratt and Matt Boner, and may be his favorite film of all time. He tries to move on to Storks before Gregg can give his review. Gregg doubts Tim actually saw Magnificent Seven, and asks Tim which theater he saw it in, but Tim insists on moving on.
Storks stars Keegan Michael….Key. Tim gets through the synopsis with some difficulty, and describes the movie as “cute” and “for all ages.” He praises Kelsey Grammer's voice acting as well, but Gregg suddenly asks “what is up with Ayaka and the baby.” Tim is somewhat taken aback, but answers he hasn't seen Ayaka since the intervention a couple of weeks prior, which he describes as the worst On Cinema episode ever. He asks Gregg for his opinion on Storks; Gregg describes it as “funny” and awards it highest marks.
Tim introduces a “new collaboration” between himself and Axiom called DKR, meant to accommodate Tim's current inability to play bass. They have prepared a new EDM track, title as yet unrevealed. Gregg is extremely annoyed, and doubts Tim's claims of support letters and fan inquiries as to Dekkar's future. Tim plays a sample of the track, which sounds suspiciously like an EDM remix of Empty Bottle. He tells viewers to check out the track on Dekkar's new website. He also announces that on Saturday nights at 9 pm, there will be concerts and stand-up comedy at the Victorville Film Center. Gregg is emphatically opposed, but Tim mostly ignores his protests.
For On Cinema On Location, Gregg appears in front of “some of Victorville's beautiful mountains,” just outside the ranch where Citizen Kane (1941, 119 mins) was written. When the camera cuts back to the studio, Tim is sucking in a long vape hit, and coughs before closing out the show.
