Get your tissues ready for an emotional episode as Tim reconciles with his guest host.
Tim's guest today is none other than Ayaka, who is filling in due to a “last-minute guest cancellation.” Baby Tom Cruise Heidecker Jr. is with Ayaka's mother, who is in town visiting.
First up is Ex Machina, which Tim says he loved. Both reviewers describe it as “exciting” and award it five bags. The Moon and the Sun is about King Louis the ex-one-five…ex-one-vee? Tim works it out, concluding it's about Louis the Sixteenth. Tim says it is his “favorite mermaid movie since Splash (1984, 111 mins). Ayaka says she doesn't care for mermaids. Tim gives it five bags, to Ayaka's three. Ayaka has also brought in a Popcorn Classics, this time a movie on iTunes instead of VHS.
Finally, a nervous Tim turns to Ayaka. He says they have been through some hard times, but as values.com says, he wants to hold those he loves close to him. Getting down on one knee, he produces a ring from his shirt pocket and proposes to Ayaka. She says yes, prompting an “Aww!” from an offscreen crew member. They embrace as the lights dim, and leave the set to applause from the crew.
