Oscar Fantasy

Tim Heidecker's Oscar Fantasy was a segment aired during the 2nd Annual On Cinema Oscar Special. It was a recreation of a hypothetical future in which Tim won the Oscar for Best Actor. Joe Estevez and John Aprea presented the award to Tim for his role in Tim's Story, directed by Tim Story, and written and directed by Heidecker. He won the award over Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Robert De Niro, and Jon Voight.

Tim thanked the fellow nominees, specifically calling out Cruise, stating that he should have won the Oscar for Jack Reacher. He also thanked his agent and personal staff, as well as his lawyer, Barry Schwartz. He thanked his family, including his parents in Pennsylvania, his ex-wife Stephanie, and his hypothetical current wife, Julianne Moore. Finally, he thanked Tim Story for directing Tim's Story, stating while Story directing the movie started as a joke, he was a greater director than any other that ever lived.

Finally, he made a statement to movie critics, saying that movie criticism wasn't worthwhile, and the most important thing in movies was to actually act in them and win Oscar gold.
