Whaleman is an upcoming movie from Marvel Studios, starring Tim Heidecker. It follows the story of Whale Boat Captain Daniel Gooobler and his transformation into a superhero after being bitten by a radioactive whale. Details on the plot are murky and disputed, with Gooobler's backstory as a marine biologist specifically being debated.[1]

Marval has indicated strongly to me that they are planning a series of Captain Dave Gobbler spin off movies with Me as Gobbler hunting whales acrosss the ocean. Meanwhile @greggturkington sits by phone which doesn’t ring. #AntMan1

Whaleman was originally slated to release in 2020. Tim wore a Whaleman 2020 t-shirt to The New On Cinema Oscar Special, promoting the film's release date. However, the film's release date was later pushed back to 2024.[2] The film is presumably delayed indefinitely.
