DKR was an iteration of Dekkar, formed at the end of season 8. The group, consisting of Tim Heidecker, Axiom, and Manuel Giusti, focused on electronic dance music (EDM).
After Tim sustained serious injuries in the destruction of the Victorville Film Archives and was left unable to play guitar, he and Axiom created DKR as a “new collaboration” to accommodate Tim's temporary disability. Their first track was an EDM version of Dekkar's single Empty Bottle.[1]
