Tim and Gregg kick off the second season of On Cinema at the Cinema with reviews of 'Side Effects', 'Identity Thief', and a surprising medical announcement about Tim's brain.

===== Synopsis =====
Tim welcomes the viewers and praises the success of the first season. He introduces his guest, Gregg Turkington, who thanks everyone for the cards and letters asking him to appear more often. Tim says he is already well-represented, which creates a brief moment of awkwardness. 

Opening the season's reviews is //Side Effects//, a "prescription medication story" featuring Channing Tatum, whom Tim says was the reason he went to see the film. Gregg says the film is informative, but also scary in its depiction of drug problems. Tim chooses this moment to announce that he was just diagnosed with blood clots in his brain, and is deciding whether or not to undergo the necessary operation. Gregg exhorts Tim to get the treatment, but Tim says his doctor said another option is to simply wait it out. This horrifies Gregg, who tells Tim to get a new doctor. Tim changes the subject back to the film, saying it "hit home," and awards it six bags of popcorn. Gregg rates it five bags (plus a get-well card), and again advises Tim to get the operation. "None of your business," Tim replies.

For //Identity Thief//, Tim gets confused while reading the card, believing that Jon Favreau should be listed as the director, instead of Seth Gordon. He says the film is "very funny." Gregg concurs, opining that Melissa McCarthy is stealing our hearts instead of our identities, and Tim compares her to Lucille Ball. Gregg awards it five bags to Tim's four ("it almost put me to sleep"). 

Gregg's [[popcornclassics]] selection is //A Simple Twist of Fate//, starring Steve Martin. He says the movie is just good, not great, and a chance to see Steve Martin "when he's not excelling in a role." He nonetheless rates it among Steve Martin's top ten. As the episode closes, Gregg again advises Tim to get the operation on his "tumor," while Tim insists "it's not a tumah" (Schwarzenegger style) and that operation is not the only option.
