+Tim appears with one minute left on the streaming countdown, berating the crew and threatening to cancel the show as Gregg and [[mark]] look on in awkward silence. Mark (as W.C. Fields) then welcomes the viewers to the show and introduces the guests before turning it over to Tim and Gregg (the latter dressed as Bilbo Baggins). Gregg predicts that "The Hobbit 2" (The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug) will unexpectedly sweep the Oscars.
+Tim introduces his new song, "[[oscarfever]]", followed by Gregg's video tour of the Kodak Theater, the site of the Oscar ceremony. Following this, Tim introduces the [[infotouch]], and he and Gregg discuss the Oscar nominees. Gregg reiterates that The Hobbit 2 will sweep, thanks to a write-in blank he believes is on the ballot. They turn to their red carpet reporter, [[larry]], for live updates, but he does not appear on the live feed. Tim then launches into a spiel on current geopolitics, to which Gregg adds that today's issues are tomorrow's movies. The pair then take their first sips of champagne of the night following a toast. Another attempt to talk to Larry Turman fails, angering Tim, who blames the crew for disrupting the feed.

The show returns with a thoroughly hammered Tim throwing food at Mark and Gregg, who flee the stage.

Unimpressed, Tim takes Gregg to task for misspelling Oscar. Gregg insists it is "spelled both ways," before walking off set, humiliated.
