====== Gregg and non-VHS formats ======
//[[oncinema|On Cinema]]// guest [[gregg]] is well known for his promotion of [[vhs|VHS]] as a format. However, his [[greggscollection|original movie collection]] at one point contained DVDs as well as VHS tapes.

In late 2012, Gregg had a Netflix subscription,[(cite:pod49>[[pod49]])] which at the time allowed for users to both stream video and rent DVDs. It's unclear which Netflix service Gregg primarily used.

For Christmas 2013, //On Cinema// host [[tim]] gave Gregg a Blu-ray player and a collection of compatible films. Gregg was thankful but hesitant about the gift, stating that since his collection was mostly VHS, and his shelving was built for those dimensions, he wasn't "quite ready to make the switch over."[(cite:christmas>[[christmas]])]
