====== Tim's housing ======
Over the course of //[[oncinema|On Cinema]]//, host [[tim]] has changed his **housing situation** several times. Oftentimes, his living situation changes due to unforeseeable disaster, and he frequently stays with friends and family in these cases.

===== Tim's first house =====
Before the start of the //[[podcast|On Cinema]]// podcast, Tim lived in a Los Angeles house with his wife [[stephanie]] and [[tims_son|his son]]. He used the garage as a recording studio, which was apparently slightly messy.[(cite:podlucas>[[podlucas]])] In early 2013, [[ayaka]] was staying with the family as a foreign exchange student.[(cite:s02e08>[[s02e08]])]

===== Tim's apartment =====
Following Tim's divorce with Stephanie in Summer 2013,[(cite:s03e01>[[s03e01]])] Tim moved out to an apartment,[(cite:s03e08>[[s03e08]])] stating that he had "everything in boxes."[(cite:s03e03>[[s03e03]])] His new housing did not have a movie theater nearby, making reviewing movies for //On Cinema// difficult.[(cite:s03e06>[[s03e06]])] Ayaka also moved in with Tim after attaining a job in America, and the two began going out at the end of July 2013. They furnished the apartment with furniture from IKEA.[(cite:s03e08)]

===== Extended Stay Motel =====
Following Tim's falling out with the Amato Group after the events of [[amatocon]], Tim and Toni moved out of the condo and into an extended stay motel.[(cite:s15e01>[[s15e01]])]

===== Movie House =====

On Christmas Day 2024, Gregg offered Tim, now going by New, and Toni, the opportunity to move into the Movie House, on an upper floor. By New Year's Day, the couple were in the process of moving into the house.[(cite:s15e02>[[s15e02]])]

===== Extended Stay America =====

Following the collapse and subsequent immolation of Movie House, New and Gregg moved into an Extended Stay America. [[summer2025]] and [[season16]] were filmed in this room, with Season 16 taking the subtitle "At the ESA," as New became extremely ill in July 2025 and was unable to secure a studio for filming.
