The **sixteenth season** of //[[ocatc]]// premiered October 1, 2026 on [[heinetwork]]. The season was originally titled //On Cinema at the Cinema at the ESA//, as it was being filmed in [[gregg]]'s room at the [[esa]] for budgetary concerns. From the [[s16e05|fifth episode]] onward, the show moved to [[themanor]], [[gamato]]'s current retirement home, and was renamed //On Cinema at the Cinema at the Manor//.

===== Premise =====

Before the season started, the [[roundup2025]] aired on June 18, 2025, and was the first Summer Movie Roundup presented as a video. Following the collapse of the [[moviehouse]] during the //[[oscar12]]//, the recap shows that [[tim|Tim]], continuing to go by New Heidecker, and Gregg have moved into an Extended Stay America hotel, establishing the HEI Network ESA Campus inside. <wrap todo>add more details of any lore dumped in the roundup</wrap> 

The //ESA// episodes were notably more sparse than recent seasons, with the only guest outside of Gregg to appear in the four episode run being [[bigmike]]. Following the move to the Manor, however, the main //On Cinema at the Cinema// series gained a live audience for the first time, consisting of G. Amato and his fellow senior citizens.
