Plus, Gregg walks in Kurt Russell's footsteps. ===== Synopsis ===== With a distinct rattle coming from somewhere off camera, Tim opens the show with an apology for his behavior the last few weeks. He reveals that the "nutritional vape system" that [[drsan]] put him on affected his judgment, leading him to "hurt" people close to him including [[ayaka|Ayaka]], Gregg, and [[dekkar]]. He also says that he went to a clinic for a blood test, which revealed a plethora of illicit substances such as speed and cocaine, and at levels that were nearly fatal. He recommits himself to //On Cinema// and "the Victorville experience," and reveals that he has distanced himself from Dr. San and now lives at the [[vfa]] courtesy of Gregg. Also, the air conditioning in the theater is fixed (although it is the source of the loud rattle), and [[mark]] now works at the theater as a concession operator. They start off the reviews with //Pete's Dragon//, featuring Robert Redford. Tim calls it one of his favorite movies of the year. Gregg says it is "in the same wheelhouse" as a [[lotr]] movie, as it was filmed in New Zealand, unlike the 1977 film of the same name. He predicts it will be "timeless" and awards it five bags. Tim concurs, and takes a heartfelt moment to tell a slightly uncomfortable Gregg that he loves him, as well as his Dekkar bandmates and Ayaka. Next up is //Sausage Party//, a kids' movie with "subtle jokes" according to Tim. He finds it interesting for its use of profanity, while Gregg opines it is more appropriate for "older teenagers, maybe from 13 up to 19" and beyond. He found the baby carrots more funny than the sausages, and suggests the filmmakers missed an opportunity by not focusing on that food group, but a sequel may be in the works anyway. Tim says he loved the "raunch" and appreciated the laughs the movie gave him, which were sorely needed. He then reveals that he nearly jumped off the 6th Street Bridge earlier until a police officer pulled him off (similar to //It's a Wonderful Life// from 1939, according to Gregg). For [[onlocation]], Gregg appears in front of a green traffic light pole seen in //Brokedown// (1997, 93 minutes), starring Kurt Russell. After the segment, Tim notes that the title of the movie was actually //Breakdown//; Gregg says that was simply the "working title." Before the lights dim, Gregg shows the calendar of film screenings in the [[vfc]] over the next month; Tim closes with a Dekkar plug. ===== Ratings ===== **//Sausage Party// (2016, 89 mins.)**\\ **[[tim|Tim]]**: 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿 + πŸ₯€πŸ₯€\\ **[[gregg|Gregg]]**: No rating given **//Pete's Dragon// (2016, 103 mins.)**\\ **[[tim|Tim]]**: 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿\\ **[[gregg|Gregg]]**: 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿 ===== Trivia ===== * Gregg does not say "Hey Guys!" in this episode when introduced; he does say it in On Cinema on Location, however.
