**🚨 MAJOR DEKKAR ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨 + "Ride With The Devil" [Official Music Video]** is a video uploaded to the YouTube channel of the band [[dekkar]] on Sunday, January 28, 2024. It features band members [[axiom]] and [[manuel]] announcing major changes to the band and premiering their new song, "[[ridewiththedevil]]", with a music video.

===== Background =====
On November 16, 2022, Dekkar announced their [[dekkartour|2022 tour]], featuring Axiom, Manuel, and fellow bandmate [[tim]].[(cite:s13e04>[[s13e04]])] On November 19, the band suffered an accident on the road which injured all three band members and destroyed the [[vfatoursvan]] they were using as transport.[(cite:s13e05>[[s13e05]])]

During the //[[oscar10]]//, the owner of the VFA Expert Tours van, [[gregg]],  launched the [[vfn]], a streaming service for classic public domain movies. Users of the VFN, however, found that the service also contained some of Turkington's personal files, including a "trash" folder that included dashcam footage recovered from the VFA Expert Tours van. The footage appeared to show Heidecker, while driving the van, intentionally unbuckling his seatbelt and swerving into oncoming traffic, before swerving back the other direction and off the road. After its discovery, this footage was played during the special and was viewed by all attendees, including Axiom & Manuel, who then left the set without a word. There was no activity from the band following this special.

Heidecker had previously attempted to reach out to the other members of Dekkar and restart the band, asking them on his show //[[season14]]// to watch the //[[xposed|Xposed]]// special //[[caseclosed]]//,[(cite:s14e04>[[s14e04]])] which he felt exonerated him from any potential wrongdoing that may have happened during the crash and the Oscar Special.

The video starts with Axiom and Manuel announcing that [[tim]] is no longer a member of Dekkar, a group decision that had not come easily. While they recognized Tim's contributions to Dekkar, they had reached a point where they could no longer work with him. They wish him well.

To replace Tim, Axiom and Manuel introduce the newest band member for Dekkar, [[corwin]]. Corwin drops down on the couch with them, and Manuel states he will bring a youthful and fresh sound to the band. They are interested in getting a manager or record label, and state that they can be contacted at dekkaremail@gmail.com.
