**Whale Boat Captain Daniel Gooobler** is a character from //[[antman2]]// (2018). He is portrayed by [[tim]]. He is the captain of a whale-sighting ship in [[startrek|San Francisco]].

Captain Gooobler's ship was used by Sonny Burch (played by Walton Goggins) to escape Scott Lang/Ant-Man. Burch had stolen the laboratory of Hank Pym, the entire building of which had shrunken down to the size of a briefcase. Burch planned to sell the technology inside on the black market. Ant-Man, growing to enormous size, swam after the ship, where Captain Gooobler initially mistook the hero's enormous legs as the tail of a whale.

After the release of the film, Tim claimed that Marvel was working on a spinoff movie about Captain Gooobler, titled [[whaleman]].
