====== Cards and letters ======
Throughout //On Cinema//, both [[tim]] and [[gregg]] receive, or claim to receive, copious amounts of fan mail supporting their respective projects, viewpoints, or actions, or detracting from those of others. Gregg, in particular, regularly claims to receive **cards and letters** from fans and viewers of the show, although both he and Tim often claim support from various sources of outside opinion.

Gregg first started mentioning having received cards and letters on [[pod25]], as a way of expressing the general positive feeling fans were having as the show hit its 25th episode.

The following is a list of known instances in which a character claims to have received fan mail, or else cites outside opinion:

===== Tim's Mail Bag =====
This was a segment created by Gregg in which he brought in a sack stuffed with letters supposedly written to Tim by fans of the show, and had Tim read them on air. The letters invariably tended to be supportive of Gregg.
