====== The "On Cinema" Film Guide ======
**The "On Cinema" Film Guide** was a mobile app released in September 2013 as the "2013 Mobile Edition."[(cite:s03e10>[[s03e10]])] It featured 1000s of reviews from //[[oncinema|On Cinema]]// host [[tim]] and frequent guest [[gregg]] of movies released up to 2013.[(cite:apppromo>[[apppromo]])] Users could select a movie, or they could tap on Tim or Gregg to get a recommendation from either. The app was developed to help quickly get recommendations for movies to watch, and to replace guides to films that were large and unwieldly.[(cite:apppromo)] It was available on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store for 99¢,[(cite:apppromo)] however, it is no longer available for download.

Reviews were audio only, accompanied by stills of Tim and Gregg from //[[ocatc]]//. It also employed the [[popcornscale|same rating system]] as //At the Cinema//. Due to the sheer number of movies reviewed, each review was created used a set of pre-set phrases by Tim and Gregg. However, some movies had specific reviews programmed in: //American Graffiti//, //More American Graffiti//, //Atlas Shrugged: Part 1//, //The Guilt Trip//, //[[reacher]]//, //Parental Guidance//, //[[startrek|Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan]]//, //[[startrek|Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home]]//, and //[[lotr|The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey]]//. //[[bond]]// movies didn't have specific reviews programmed in, but the entire series had Bond-specific phrases the hosts could use.

The app also included a popcorn recipe and a copy of the U.S. Constitution.

In 2017, the app was updated to include movies up to 2017, the "2017 Mobile Edition."
